Technical difficulties. @simon

I was hoping to start rendering my final film scenes earlier today, but for some reason Mental Ray has ceased to function for me. After attempting every fix I could find I was left with the only option of uninstalling Maya and reinstalling it again.

Only problem is because of my homes farm Internet, a 1.6GB download is a 2 hour process, so I'm hoping this fixes it, if not, I'm not sure what I'll do.

Any scenes or files that previously rendered also show this message now and a black screen.
